Our Genesis
From a shared History to a collective future.
When in 2023, the Childline 1098 service was adopted into the Government of India’s National Emergency Response System-taking with it the model and most of the frontline workers, the partner network of NGOs with decades of experience in child protection decided to come together to build preventive community led systems for child protection in India.
GOVERNANCE & LEADERSHIP
Working together towards a shared purpose.
The governance of the Bal Suraksha Collective consists of a Secretariat guided by a Steering Committee and will subsequently have State Chapters and Working Groups. Leher is the Secretariat of the Bal Suraksha Collective for the first five years (2025-2030).
